That was great ! Five-star video. Thanks for the knowledge!
Nice, but anyone can plug in a cable. Now plug in the power and show how to configure the screen.
THANKS EXCELLENT EXPLANATION. WELL DONE
How i can take away all the waypoint and paste to another GPSmap 741xs?
Thank you!
I need to buy 3 instruments for this engine of mine etc. 130 evinrude this product works and what is the price, do you deliver it right there in the USA,
How would I connect the radio to power to test it out before putting it in my boat?
On the Driving Map View screen, if you select Track Up or North Up, you get a measurement show up on the screen, either in feet or part miles. This does not show up when in 3D mode. What is this measurement of? It alters when the screen zooms in or out.
It’s still using the phone gps how do you use the bad elf gps for location and not the cell phone.
Great video by the way .
Do I need the power T supply if I am going from my engine directly to my gps, which has a power supply of its own ?
How do you get 1’ contours on the 942xs?
Great video... well explained thank you.
Can the sonar help you single hand a boat through shoals and near surface objects?
Hey John, Great to see you ...................YAR!!
Clearvu and sidevu can't find fish. Don't waste your money on clearvu or sidevu. Stick to traditional sonar and you'll be a more successful and 100times happier angler. Take this advice, you'll thank me.
Jeff, you are correct that SideVu and ClearVu have a hard time finding fish, but that is not the intention. The much higher frequency SideVu and ClearVu use is to find harder returns like structure. They are used to find structure faster by letting you see what is out to the sides of your boat. If the fish you are targeting like to hang out near structure then SideVu and ClearVu will help you. Then you use the CHIRP or Traditional sonar to find the fish when you are on the structure. If you are not looking to target fish that are around Wrecks, Reefs or other structure then SideVu and ClearVu are not for you.
Thank you, but if you have a minute. When I turn mine on, it is LOUD, I use the "volume key" and nothing, no ability to adjust the volume that I can see. I punch it repeatedly, and I have tried holding down the key--nothing. Otherwise, it works great, but I seem to have no volume control, any ideas?
I’m excited to see how good the maps are. I just got an 8616. I’m gonna link them to two 1222’s
Clear message, clear structure, easy to understand, thank you
Can I plug something in to either end of the backbone? Or does it have to be a resister?
Hi, love this video. My name is Chuck and i have an 1825 Jetcraft Falcon and I bought the NMEA Starter kit, for all I care to hook up is my Lowrance display, and my vfh radio. So does these units need to be on a separate battery? Please explain Thanks
your videos are very good and have a wide message thank you
👌👌👌
Gosh, thanks so much for showing us how it works!
Great video. Is there way to a reduce the transducer feedback beam?
I'll have to say that this was one of the best how-to videos I've ever er seen. Very well explained and demonstrated. Now even a caveman can do it 🤪
how did you do it can you share with me , thank you
What mount is that on a rail? Thx
Is this the 'tk' version? I'm wondering if the Ocean Scout at the $600 price point is any use or just gimmicky. Seems like viable systems run into the thousands of $
FYI, the power cable should always be connected as close to the center of the backbone as possible.
What transducer model did you use on this boat?
Can I use a 2000 to 0182 nmea adapter to plug into a C70 PLOTTER?
Is it possible to share radar and sonar between a garmin 741xs and a garmin 742 xs and or a 942 xs using the nema 2000?
Good explanation. How do you set the time?
That’s a ditch bag filled with key essentials to be found fast. I know this is their commercial but I would add water packets, small dry box for phone and a small green laser that can be seen for miles and lead them directly to you at night.
very helpful - thanks. does the network consume any power when the instruments are switched off?
What is the max power I can withdraw from the NEMEA network and avoid a separate power supply? I wish to connect a AIS transceiver (em trak 953) to my network, should I take power from the network or feed it with a separate power supply?
Great video on these Garmins Thank you for showing I learn’t a lot on them
Finally I understand that side view beam is not sent at an angle slightly less than 90, but the complimentary angle to that of the down imaging angle.. Thank you
I have a Nema backbone and unlike your video, I cannot connect my Raymarine instrument to it. The Raymarine has a 6 pin plug and the Nema has a 5 pin plug. Can you tell me how you fitted that Raymarine device to the Nema backbone?? Maybe you used a specific connector but you did not explain that.
Your Raymarine is Not compatible with NMEA. must be 5 pin setup.
@@SF-rl7hl only took a year for a reply. Awesome support
Well done very easy to understand, thanks
I just bought one to put on my one man inflatable pontoon🤪
Contact number for buying this furuno GPS and fish finder
Perfect. I’m connecting a Lowrance Point 1 to a Garmin fish finder. This answered all my questions. Thanks for putting it together.
Cool stuff
Can G3 support echomap 65cv plus ?
The Difference Between GLONASS and GPS GNSS is the US GPS network includes 31 satellites, while GLONASS uses 24 satellites. The 2 systems are somewhat different in accuracy. GLONASS position accuracy is 5-10m while GPS is 3.5-7.8m. Therefore, GPS outweighs GLONASS in accuracy as lower error numbers are better. This is what needs to be mentioned I think.
I bought one of these from y’all !
What’s this unit like in deep water??
What is the model of that Garmin mini mfd display?
